Restrictions on the release of 'Padmavati' in Gujarat


Gandhinagar Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that his government will not allow Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Padmavati' to be released in the state. The first phase of the Gujarat assembly elections is to be held on 9th December.

" He said that apart from this law and order is also our responsibility, so we have decided that in Gujarat, the film will not be allowed to release 'Padmavati'.

Rupani also said that the ban is not limited to the assembly elections, but till the dispute ends, the ban will continue.
